Motivation…how do I get motivation to live healthier?
I very often get asked this question. How do you do it? How do you keep training every day?
Well, I don’t get up every day and want to work out. Just like everyone else. I want snooze 5 more minutes-10 more minutes or even forget about the alarm and sleep in. I think what helps me the most is having a goal. I sign up for a race and that motivates me to complete my training. I want to know that when I get on the start line of a given race I did everything to be ready and to give my best. I know not everyone races so for those who don’t; you need to find out what is important to you. Lose weight, tone, eat healthier…..whatever your reason is, then work towards that goal. Give yourself a time line. In 4 weeks I want to……… and every day I will…… to accomplish it. Use post it notes, add exercise to your calendar, give yourself reminders of what you want to accomplish. You can want and wish all you want but you have to take some action towards what you want. Believe that you can because when you set your mind then all is possible.
